OUR MISSION STATEMENT
Soo Dan Hap-Ki-Do Cornacchio’s Martial Arts Centre’s mission is to provide effective martial arts instruction. Helping people learn how to defend themselves. Our mission consists of being one of the world’s top Hap-Ki-Do organization’s by promoting and instructing its members in the philosophy and techniques of Hap-Ki-Do.
Soo Dan Hap-Ki-Do was started with the purpose of teaching its students a way of life based upon Hap-Ki-Do philosophies and training methods. Our instructors will insure that our students receive the highest level of training and education based upon the traditional methods of Hap-Ki-Do.
We are proud to belong to the Korea Moo Moo Kwan Hapkido Association and represent them. Since 1963, the KMMKHA has provided leadership and vision. This allows our students direct access to the founders of our art, and the opportunity to earn an internationally recognized black belt – join us, we are Moo Moo Kwan!

received his 6th degree from Korea Moo Moo Kwan Hapkido Association under GM Yun Seong Yong

also received 6th degree from International Hapkido Federation President Sung Kwang Myung.

Host and Director for the first International Hapkido Canadian Open.

received the prestigious “Ambassador Award” by Tourism Sault Ste. Marie; acknowledging his contributions to his Community at large

received a Letter of Recognition from the Ontario Government representative David Orazietti M.M.P for his international work.

- 2013 Peter was appointed the Ontario Branch Manager For the Korean MooMooKwan Hapkido Federation

DO JANG RULES
- Hygiene is extremely important. Always keep your Do Bak(uniform) clean. Wash yours feet before each class it is important to come with clean feet and hands. Keep your finger and toenails cut short at all times. Wear deodorant we all sweat. Long hair must be tied back. No shoes on the training floor.
- You will always bow the Master Instructor when entering and leaving the Do Jang (school)
- You will always salute the flags when entering and leaving the Do Jang.
- When the Master Instructor arrives in the class,
the first student that notices the Master’s presence will clap their hand and call the class to attention. The highest-ranking student present will call out the commands “Cha Ryuht” (attention) then “Kyung Neh” (bow).
- You will address all instructors by their rank name or by “Sir or Mam”.
- All injuries are to be reported immediately to the Master Instructor or the Class Leader.
If you leave class for any reason, you will notify the instructor in charge before leaving.
